10th Anniversary Duathlon

A brilliant duathlon day at Kirroughtree as the kids set the tone for a fantastic weekend of off road running and mountain biking. Thank you to all who made this such a special wqeekend; sponsors, funders, the team at Galloway Hillbillies Bike Club and the incredible participants.

The Kirroughtree Forest in Dumfries and Galloway played host to a weekend of intense mountain bike action as Round 1 of the British Cycling National Cross Country Series wrapped up yesterday (Sunday, April 21st).

From the seasoned veterans to the young shredders, the weekend offered awesome courses, exciting races and incredibly.. sunshine.

What a fantastic weekend at Kirroughtree! A huge thank you to all the riders who came for the first ever two-day format at this iconic venue.

Incredible new trails, epic decents and more stages than ever before. Congratulations to all the racers who battled it out on the course – we hope you enjoyed the fresh loam and glorious granite!

A special thanks to those who designed and built the awesome stages, and to everyone who helped make this event a success.

We are delighted to announced we will be hosting the Scottish National Road Race Champs, for Senior Open and Senior & Junior Female riders on Sunday 4th August!

We will also be running a taster road race in between to allow those keen to give road racing a try the opportunity!
